Chapter 3- How to beat anxiety
Write down the thoughts that make you feel anxious or worried
Imagine your friend tells you that is how she feels?
Day 1
1- weight lifiting will not "work" for me, that I can't build muscle, that my body will be a wrinkly mess
Of course your body will change if you put in the work- brick by boring brick, work at it. There are products to use consistently that will change your skin.
2- I can never be a good person because of my past
You think these thoughts often, dont you? What has happened in the past has no bearing of who you are today. Work on being the person that you want to be or are every day. Remind yourself of hte good you do. Create more good, accept who you are. I love you and many people find you good and worthy.
3- I can't have the lift I want )which is?) because of my caretaker role
You do have a lot on your plate. Your Dad is in great health right now, just stay in this moment. Ken improves each day, and even if he does not, you can still live the way you want to. YOu could hiresomeone, ask friends for help. You are not limited.
Day 2
Ken is a big fat lazy drunken human, he spills things, he eats and drinks too much, he looks stoned each night
I'm sorry you feel that way, it must be hard. How do you know he will never change? Is it possible for a shift to happen? Yes, it's possible, I don't know what the future will bring, so let that go.
I will always be to tired to do the things I want to do
You are building up strength and will continue to do so, brick by boring brick.
Live in this moment
Day 3
The house needs to sell RIGHT now
You know that it will sell, there is no need for worry or stress over it. There is no reason why it must be right now :)
That said: I am manifesting a good contract this week, they are coming :)
Ken will never be well
I don't know what the future holds for Ken (or me) take one day at a time and be grateful he is not in the hospital and is getting better
I have no place for all of my stuff.
You do have some extra room, and you can purge what is not needed. There is always the storage unit if I need it.
Day 4
There was less noise in my head this morning, and I feel like I'm sleeping better!
I am anxious about starting the weight lifting program and failing or quitting
You don't have to worry about finishing, just do the workout of the day, you know you CAN do that, It can ne modified and you can take as much time as you need. If life gets in the way, you just do the workout as soon as it fits back into your schedule. You have all the time in the world! You have determination, it will be fun to see a transformation!
I can't get organized.
You ARE getting organized, you did a great job with the china and glasses yesterday, keep working on that until you feel satisfied, you have the time to get it right.
Day 5
We will never sell the house at a good profit
That's actually redicilous. We will sell the house to the right byer and if it's not the price we thought we would get, so what? We will sell for much higher than our purcase price :)
