 1 write down the thoughts that are holding me back 2 life is like with procrastination, what it could be without it 3 Reward yourself when you tackle something that you did not want to do Divide tasks into small steps

June 27- Adversity Reveals

 Handle even mild adversity with grace, kindness

June 26- Try the opposite

 try the opposite instead, do the opposite of what you want-Try not to sleep, if you are trying to sleep Sometimes our habits push us away from what we are wanting explore the oppostie

June 25-The wide don't have problems

 consider best and worse case scenarios reverse clause-be prepared and decide to WANT whatever happens Nothing surprises you

June 24- The Truly educated are no quarrelsom

 No need to get upset, even when talking about "important" things to me Always keep your cool, be more interested in what other people have to say No need to win the argument Question- Is there any reason to argue about this, will it solve anything? Take a breath relax resist the temptation to be right

June 23-The long way around

 We want Freedom. happiness and respect from our peers- Why we want "something" So much effort chasing things- Why spend years instead of just creating what we want Freedom- easy- its in our choices Happiness- Easy, it's in our choices Respect- in our choices All  is right in front of us- No need to take the long way around

June 22- the definition of insanity

 doing the same thing over and over Today I won't or today I will, but don't do anything different. Hope is not a strategy Learn from failure, op to do things differently, tweak and change This keeps coming up time and time again. I do want to react exactly how I have before, when obviously it does not work. Change ME

June 21- Take a walk

Get fresh air, take a walk. Walking offers tie and space for better work. Ideas come to you when you walk. Problem solving, thak e a walk, be creative, take a walk. solve your problems along the way (of the walk) Heck, it seems walking solves everything :)

June 20th- Calm is contiguous

 Calm, by example You got this- don't be the agitator, the worrier, or the irrational, be the calm

The Me I am becoming, creating the life I want

 I want to be fashionable, confident, comfortable in my clothes. This is FUN and I have the means to do it. I want to learn languages and to travel and to practice them. I want to start with Spanish and pick up some French and Italian on the way. I want to cook! I will find and practice new recipes I want to create through photography, this time in the life Is so easy to learn and study to skills. I will love becoming the talented artist that is in me already. I will practice and learn manners and elegance; You Tube has many videos I can watch and learn and study and incorporate into my life So Fun!

Chapter 4- How to stop feeling stuck

What is your current painful thought Why are you choosing to think this How could you think differently about the situation what evidence can you find to support your new thoughts How does your new thought make you feel?  Limiting beliefs- looking at it from a different perspective Its hard for me to learn Spanish It's hard for most anyone, hard does not mean doable. If I put in the time, brick by boring brick, I will learn to speak Spanish, and to understand and write it. I am not an incapable human :) I have learned to be the different me from my shy and scared before me. I can put in the work and effort, I have the time to keep becoming me . I feel great thinking about accomplishing this hard task, it will come in so handy, I will be proud. I can do this Thought: I can't change my body composition I think this because currently it seems very hard to work my body in a way that "may" be painful I could think of it as pain is gain, that the work will create new muscle...

June 18-Prepared and active

 Be prepared for what the world brings, do not try to fight fate, or wish what was Be ready for the negative, be prepared to go with the flow of things.

June 17- Offense or Defense

 Relentless offense, always battling,  or defense? The more you struggle with fortune, the more vulnerable you are with it. Use Philosophy, it tames us Resilient defense I think this means to adapt to circumstance, don't try to fight our way out of it. It already "is". Accept it and move on (with peace)

June 16- No shame in needing help

 We do not have all the tools we need to face all problems. As a newborn we needed help. we can ask anyone for help. If you need help just ask :)

June 15-Listning accomplishes more than speaking

 Speaking can make things harder on us World is trying to give us feedback, stop and listen to the wisdon of the world instead of drowning it out with noise

June 14- Try the other handle

 Every thing has 2 handles Stop doing things MY way and try to open up to the wisdom of those that have gone before us Why continue the handle that has not worked.
